What better way to enjoy the sweeping waterfront of views with a stay at the Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey.
This hotel was built as a Ritz Carlton in 1990, which means this luxury hotel chain is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary of this location with a gala-night event which is in the planning for late October.
Michael Mettler, Director of Sales and Marketing said the hotel featured 304 guest rooms, about 17,000 square feet of indoor function apace as well as about 16,000 square feet of outdoor space.
“We have the largest pool deck in all of Los Angeles,” Mettler said.
“It’s heated all year round to 82 degrees. We also have two tennis courts and a full size NBA basketball court.”
About 60 per cent of the hotel’s guests are transient guests, he said.
“That’s a mixture between the business traveler and the leisure guest.
“And then about 40 per cent of guests are coming in with groups and conventions.”
Mettler said the hotel’s location meant it was convenient to LAX travelers.
“For people coming in for trips from the East Coast going to Asia, this is a great play to layover,” he said.
“We have a nice little package called the Lavish Layover. We will pick you up with a town car service at the airport and bring you to the hotel. You can relax here at the hotel before departing for your long flight over to Asia.”
Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey is located at 4375 Admiralty Way, Marina del Rey.
