The 2010 Eagle & Badge gala last week honored individuals who have had a major impact on the community and established remarkable legacies in Los Angeles. The event was held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel, presented by the Los Angeles Police Protective League’s Eagle and Badge Foundation in L.A. and produced by E & B Event Chair Arthur M. Kassell.

Shirley Jones will be honored by Palm Springs Women in Film and Television.
The Horace Mann Elementary Student Council designated Wednesday as Horace Mann V.I.P. Day. Students went to school wearing V.I.P. outfits and the entire elementary staff surprised Principal Steve Kessler by dressing up like him complete with fake moustaches.
